Zachary Whitman
Senior Attorney
Zachary Whitman is a Senior Attorney and the Head of the Probate Litigation Division of Weiner Law.
Zack’s practice focuses on complex probate litigation matters, including financial elder abuse, capacity/undue influence challenges, civil theft, breach of duties of Trustee, conservatorship/guardianship cases, and trust accountings.
Before finding his true calling as a litigator, Zack practiced in Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions and Estate Planning. Zack has various experiences practicing both in estate planning and business law, focusing primarily on representing family-owned businesses and integrating business succession planning into comprehensive estate plans. Zack also previously worked as a corporate attorney in Silicon Valley.
Zack began his legal career as a Judicial Intern to Judge Aaron Persky in the Superior Court of Santa Clara County. Pro Bono Legal Services and assisting veterans have always been a passion for Zack. He has organized and hosted pro bono clinics for veterans in both Minnesota and Nevada. He continues to volunteer with the Wills for Heroes program in San Diego. Zack remains committed to giving back to his community.
Zack earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in kinesiology from Concordia University, St. Paul (2011). He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota Law School (2015).
Outside of the courtroom, Mr. Whitman is spending time with his wife, Natalie, who is also an esteemed Estate Planning Attorney, and their two beloved dogs, Moose and Charlie.
